Donations Disclaimer
New York State Election Law limits contributions to $3,800 per election cycle from any Corporation, Individual, or other non-corporate entity; corporations are also subject to a limit of $5,000 per calendar year under NYS aggregate limits for corporate contributions. Corporations, other entities, and individuals are strictly prohibited from reimbursing another person for making a contribution to Schimel for Assembly.
By making a donation to Schimel for Assembly I confirm that the following statements are true and accurate:
- I am not a foreign national who lacks permanent residence in the United States.
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and not those of another.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- This contribution is made on a personal credit card or debit card for which I have the legal obligation to pay, and is not made on the card of another person.
Contributions or gifts to Schimel for Assembly are not tax deductible.
Contributions can also be made by check or money order. Checks and money orders should be made out to “Schimel for Assembly” and mailed to: P.O. Box
234052 Great Neck, NY 11023. Cash contributions can only be accepted if they are under $100. In order to comply with New York State Campaign Finance Laws, all donors should include their full name, home address and contact phone number with their contribution.
